School starts at 8:30 am each day and the students leave school premises by 3:00 pm.

Take child to the main office and sign them in on the computer and inform our administrator. The child can then go to class.

There are times when parents are late in picking up their child from school. If this is going to happen, we ask that the school is informed about the expected delay. Our school is open till 5:00 pm.

And, if a child is still not collected by that time, then the children have to sit in the reception until the parents arrive for pick up.

If you need someone else to come to school to collect your child, please speak to the class teacher in the morning or leave a message in the administration. Each child has a data overview sheet with people who are allowed to collect them.

Call / Inform one day in advance for the absence of the child. The parent has to inform class teacher and our administrator. A message can be left on the reception if the concerned person is not available. If the child is sick and unable to attend school, the information can be given on the day of absence.

Attending school is a compulsory obligation that parents must adhere to and therefore you should avoid taking your child out of school. If you wish to have a special case considered then you are required to complete a request for Leave of Absence Form taken from the school office.

School lunch and snacks cost Rs.5500 for Class 1-5 and Rs.6500 for Class 6-12 for a month. Lunch and snacks are charged for 10 months only. 

Children have access to drinking water in school. We have water dispensers around the school area with hot and cold drinking water that children can drink.

Yes, children are allowed to bring in sweets/treats to school on their birthdays.

We provide healthy meals at RAI School. The dining hall is a great place to have healthy meals and to experience the bonds of camaraderie. Different variations of Nepalese and Indian style menu are served for lunch and snacks.

Lunch : 10:15AM (45 mins)
Snacks: 2:50PM (10 mins)

Parents are welcome to taste the food enjoyed by our students and teachers.

Please try to arrange medical appointments outside of school time. If this is unavoidable, we ask that you bring the appointment letter to the school office so it can be recorded on the register.

We ask that children remain at home until they are well enough to return to school. Sickness and stomach bugs – we ask that children remain at home for 24 hours after their last bout of illness to ensure that infections do not spread.

All Teaching Assistants are first aid trained and can offer reassurance and first aid to students who are injured at school.If the injury is significant, we would inform parents and appropriate first aid would be given. In case of a serious injury, we would involve the medical services as soon as possible.

Parents are asked to park outside the school premise in the peak hours. 

Yes, child can cycle to school with necessary precautions and with prior information to school regarding the same. 

Yes, we charge Rs. 3000 monthly for transportation service. We charge trasportation for only 11 months. 
We can pick students from any place.

Depending upon the route of the vehicle, we try to manage the best spot for drop and pick up facility.

Parents can personally call to manage the route and bus stop best suited for them. 

Teachers can be contacted through school reception. An appointment can be made via the school office.

RAI School offers a service whereby students can be picked up later than normal school end times. This service is priced at Rs.5, 000 per month. It includes play time, tuition and snacks. It is advisable for parents to pick up their child but we can provide drop service too.

If you have any concerns about your child’s progress, we ask that you arrange an appointment to talk to your child’s class teacher.

At RAI we welcome all children regardless of their nationality. We have several children who have joined our school unable to speak good English. We have members of staff who are trained in supporting children. 

Yes, we have different teachers for different subjects.

With prior discussion with the admission team, you can enroll your child to class 9. 

You should request access to view our lost property items via our administration staff.
Lost property is kept for a reasonable period of time after which it will be disposed of appropriately.
